OUR MISSION
Aiding Billerica's College-Bound Students
Since 1989, it has been the Sean C. Elmore Memorial Fund's mission to help defray the ever-rising cost of a college education for sports-minded high school seniors living in Billerica. As of 2023, we are proud to have awarded more than $595,000 to students.
The Sean C. Elmore Memorial Fund Inc. is a nonprofit organization with tax-exempt status under IRC section 501 (C)(3) recognized by the Internal Revenue Service.

The Sean C. Elmore Memorial Fund was founded in 1989 by Steven Elmore, and his parents John and Gerry, in memory of their brother and son, Sean.
At the age of 30, Sean, a standout basketball player, passed away from complications brought on by Marfan syndrome. Family and friends best remember Sean for his larger-than-life personality and penchant for mischief.
